ELEVATING THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE FROM THE GROUND UP
Banora Village Shopping Centre was getting a complete renovation. And the architects and designers saw an opportunity to upgrade the car park lighting. They wanted lighting that would make shoppers feel safe as soon as they drove into the car park. The plans developed required poles, foundation cages and luminaires engineered for durability. They wanted motion sensors and movement detection capabilities for smarter energy use. The contractor needed a knowledgeable partner who
could deliver high-quality products. This project needed technical expertise and careful coordination. We started with the contractor’s technical drawings. Then we built 3D renders to see how light would spread. The lighting simulations went through a few rounds of revisions to get to the final result. We measured angles, spill and density to ensure a clear scope for drivers and pedestrians. All the exterior fixtures were IP-rated and weather-proof for external use.

brightness in covered sections regardless of weather. Together, these luminaires create a lighting system that supports vehicle and pedestrian safety. The car park and street lighting perform reliably in all weather conditions. This means consistent light output and lower maintenance over time. The electrical contractor installed a system built to specification with Industralight products. And the shoppers now have ideal lighting from arrival to departure.
The finished installation delivers consistent light across every zone. The weatherproof exterior lighting creates even coverage from entry lanes to parking bays. Drivers get clear sightlines when reversing. And pedestrians walk through well-lit pathways from the car to the shop entrance. The pole-mounted floodlights spread broad illumination across open areas. The recessed downlights focus light exactly where people walk. And the sealed battens maintain
