Sydney creative agency Paper Moose was in need of upgraded lighting for their Surry Hills office. The space included an open collaborative floor and a meeting room. They also wanted the lighting to blend into the ceiling rather than stand out against it. Industralight recommended connectable black linear luminaires to span the open workspace. Smaller spaces required strip and profile solutions cut-to-length.

Paper Moose is a Sydney-based independent creative agency operating out of Surry Hills. It’s a working environment that takes design seriously. Existing lighting wasn’t meeting the needs of the space as it was being used. So when the team needed to upgrade their LED lighting across the office, they weren’t looking for a generic solution. They needed
luminaires that could span a wide open floor and serve a meeting room. The preference was to have each fixture finished in black to blend into black ceilings above. The challenge was to source a product that could run continuously across the working space. And the additional meeting room required a different lighting solution.
CONNECTABLE LINEAR, FINISHED TO SPEC, AND READY TO INSTALL
After speaking with the customer, we recommended the LUS Series connectable linear in black. It’s one of our most requested linear products for commercial fit-outs across Sydney. Due to its connectable design, it can span wide and large spaces with ease. With multiple mounting options, this LED solution is highly adaptable for many applications. Suspending the linear meant they wouldn’t interfere with other fixtures, pipes, wiring and air conditioning. And it also meant that they sat at the right height above desks for general office task lighting.
The meeting room required a different approach. We supplied a VRX LED strip with a HLP7477 mounting profile and suspension kit. It was configured by our production team so it could be installed straight away with little fuss. The mounting profile was also supplied in black to suit the style. Our premium high-output strip LED is well-suited to detailed or task-focused environments. And the diffuser on the profile allows for a broad spread of illumination across the meeting room desk.
